Will do--God bless, and good witnessing.

Haha! Dad, that's pretty much exactly what I'm going to be doing tomorrow, but in Canada. Although B-ham is pretty close to Canada...

We'll pray for your gig, and you pray for ours.

In a Public school? Wow. Blessings on your and your mission. I'm sure you will be a witness in all the ways the Spirit intends.

What do you intend to say to these kids?

I will offer it at my hour of Eucharistic Adoration.

It'll largely be Q and A, so they will mostly drive the conversation. I suspect it will center on the Usual Pelvic issues (this is the Soviet of Washington, after all). But you never know. If there's a lull, I will give a whittled down talk based on "101 Reasons Not to Be Catholic" which is a short precis of the Common Criticisms and the difficult to argue with facts about who Jesus is and what the Church is.

I second Dave G., Wow!

Have fun at it.

Mark,
I expect to hear from you when you are up here! What time is your gig and where is it?

Blessings,
Sheila and the Gang in Bellingham

The day you come to Bellingham I have to work!!!!!! Nuts! If you want a tour of the town, including the two Catholic churches, or if you're hungry, want to hang out and watch the Discovery channel - just let me know! And knock em dead at Squalicum! : )

God bless.

Mark,
All the best with your talk tomorrow -- those students don't know how blessed they are to have such an articulate and powerful witness to our Faith. Go get 'em, Tiger! Yeehaw!

Stayed there in September 2002 with a great couple Ashley & Dan Franzheim and their three lovely daughters. Great sailing on Bellingham Bay.
Ashley was quite active in her Evangelical church, which - from memory - was the Church of Christ the King. I gave her a Catholic perspective of Christ the King. Was there on the first anniversary of 9/11 - very moving and emotional.
Don't expect you'll see her/them, but you never know
