Dear God,

Would you please consider stemming the flow of extruded fantasy novels about magically born Chosen Ones? It was getting annoying twenty years ago. Also, it cuts off my desire to read any non-extruded fantasy that uses this trope.

Your book was the best; I don't know why everybody else keeps trying to top it.

Your friend,

we are made in the likeness and image of God. Therefore I think it makes perfect sense that our creations should reflect God's perfect creation. Even marriage and family are made to image the loving relationship between God and His people. It is what "mimics", so to speak, God's glorious work that is most wholesome and good of all of man's activities and works.

I would have to agree with Christian.

Jesus told parables. He taught us Truth through story. Aren't we to follow his example.

Yes, it is true the Bible is THE story. We as Christians know that to be true. I seriously doubt that Kaleb or any other Christian writer is trying to top God's book. Instead they are heeding God's call to be missionaries. To spread His Word.

I've had the opportunity to read some of Kaleb's fiction. It's good stuff. It'll be a gift to the world and God will smile down upon Kaleb for all the time and work he put into it.

God gave him the gift of story telling and I for one am happy to see it put to good use.

May we all use our God-given talents to their fullest and to raise up hearts to God's glory.

OK, I have to be a mom for a moment and share our kid's homeschool
