Good post, but I cringed at "Democrat party." It makes you sound hacky, which you're absolutely not.

Good analysis and great writing. Mark at his best

Now, isn't that interesting. It seems yellow journalism is alive and well, eh?

If you think this blog is supposed to be "journalism" boy you do you live in a dream world.

"all the stuff the newsies knew about the Clintons but sanitized for our protection starts to get aired. "

Wait till McCain is nominated...

Wasn't it Obama who recently re-introduced her Wal-Mart board membership to the world during that spitting match between the two of them a week or so ago?

She in turn accused him of being in cahoots with a slumlord, as I recall.

But I actually enjoyed the Wal-Mart jab from Obama. He knows how to poke a stick at her potential supporters on the left. Just accuse someone of ANYTHING having to do with Wal-mart!

You think the media JUST turned on Hilary and Bill Clinton?!?

Wow. Just . . . wow.

Did I dream about that 8 year coverage of whitewater, filegate, travelgate, running cocaine through airstrips in Arkansas, killing Vince Foster etc.?

"Lady Macbeth is an unprincipled reptile"

That is a very rude way to refer to a woman. Nor is it accurate since what is most significant about Lady MacBeth was that she was principled, i.e. bound by the moral law, which tortured her conscience.

And if it comes down to her versus McCain, I would much rather have Hillary. Just as I hope she gets the Democratic nomination over Obama.

While I am as anti-Hillary as the next guy (or woman), I have no problems with Walmart or any other company seeking to prevent union organization by their employees. The key defense against unionization is for a business to treat its employees well enough that they'd not want to form a union. I'm not convinced that WM is particularly evil or operates much differently than any other (discount or big box) retailer. WM might have some monopsony power (meaning market power by being a very large purchaser of goods), but beyond that, WM doesn't bother me too much. I don't hold it against H Clinton that she was a corporate attorney, except that such activity is contrary to her public positions, claiming to work for the poor and children, and anti-corp attitude today.

One possible answer is that ABC didn't know about these tapes until now. I do agree, though, that they would never have publicized them before or during the Clinton presidency. I too think MSM is sick of the Clintons and wants to be rid of them.

What evidence is that that Wal-Mart does that? None that i am aware of. There is, on the other hand, a substantial amount of evidence that Wal-Mart does not treat its well at all, especially in the case of women. Hilary's tenure on the board at Wal-Mart makes me ashamed that my union has endorsed her.

As for the timing of this "revelation," i think you have to take into account that although Hilary played the "Will she or won't she run" game for a long time, she finally decided to run in 2008, so there was less incentive to notice her foibles until now.
