I seem to recall reading a few years ago (on that right-wing mouthpiece the AP) that the bones-out-of-soap story had been pretty well shown to be a myth. (Which in no way lessens the other horrors, obviously.)

I have to wonder about laws against questioning something like the Holocaust, when we're still finding out what's true and what's only based on rumor. Is it illegal to question the debunked items, too?

The lampshade thing is a myth too, as far as I know. Doesn't excuse the other things, obviously.

So if it were shown to be a myth (hard to prove a negative, I know), would it still be illegal to question it? My deutschmarks are on "yes."
