Gravatar Ack!

Also: Don't ever invite me to board with you.

Gravatar Boy, can I relate, only in my case, the culprit is really old enough (over 35) to know better. Aggravating, isn't it?

Gravatar I had roommates until I was in my late 30's. None of them were bad on a day to day basis but it did get old...

- 3rd from last one was crazy, fortunately she only thought the upstairs neighbors were having her followed, not me

- 2nd from last used the living room as a studio, which made sharing it a little uncomfortable (but that was more my fault for being shy about saying "Hey, this is a little uncomfortable" - plus I did enjoy seeing what she was working on, almost offered to buy one except that it would've just reminded me of the uncomfortableness, how stupid was that of me?), plus she had this huge stupid fight with my very stubborn landlady, I ended up having to do quite a bit of damage control.

- Last one was really probably the best, nice enough guy and I switched the rental space from the little back room to the much larger living room, taking the little room for myself as a sitting room, so that solved most of the space-sharing issues I'd had w/second roommate (I finally just realized I wasn't all that comfortable sharing sitting-around space & wanted my own)- but I was just getting sooo tired of having to have a roommate by then.

Gravatar As the old saying goes... "Youth is wonderful... too bad it is wasted on the young!" ~ jb///

Gravatar Sean: duly noted

Jay: Yes, yes it is.

Bonnie: My first ever flatmate spent the day after she moved in swapping everything around in my kitchen cupboards while I was at work and then greeted me with a big smilie 'isn't this much more convenient?!' And no, it wasn't. I think the whole of my response before walking out of the room was simply, 'change it back...right now'.

Gravatar Yikes! When was my mother living in Australia????

Gravatar Bonnie: LOL! I see.

Gravatar Oh, my mom's great & she's a really good cook & an awful lot of what I know about cooking, I learned from her.

But she does have her own ideas about where things should go in a kitchen!

;D
