Why would anyone need to apologize for Mike Moore? Moore is the biggest traitor and has indirectly killed many of our troops.

He bolstered our enemies by falsely showing them support and detracting from our efforts. He's the new Jane Fonda pumping up the enemy to kill more Americans.
Historically, people have been executed for similar treasonous activity in "civlized" western countries. I say we at least strip him of his citizenship. And, of course, no apology is needed from Chris.
