Gravatar Let's see, I have lots of thoughts...

1. I wish PB and apples was sufficient to live off. I love PB and apples!

2. I so totally also have a container of nuts on my desk at work - it also has dried fruit (the good sugar in them gives you an instant energy boost then the protein backs it up so you don't drop)

3. Have you ever juiced? You get a lot more water from fruit that way and it is yummy!


Gravatar Your day sounds similar to mine & Jane's. I start my day off with a protein shake though. This is comprised of a cup of soy or almond milk, a scoop of soy protein powder, a banana, and either a cup of frozen blueberries or a 1/4 C almond butter. You might like to give that a try.
Also, for something a little different and a protein boost, we have almond butter or hummus with our cut up veggies in the afternoon.
Jane has also been making a lot of stew type dishes now that it's getting colder. We usually get two or three meals out of that - with a little bread and a salad.


Gravatar Wow. Those are both great ideas. I will probably try the juicing. I just tried hummus a few weeks ago and it is very good - I'm trying to be braver about my food choices. Protein shake sounds good, too. I've been looking for a good recipe for one .
