I agree with you that a solution to homelessness would be an interesting thing to do with $30 Million. I sometimes wonder about trying to get homeless people to move from the colder states to the warmer states in the winter. Or even getting them to work on farms.

$\"Gravatar\"$ Homeless people do move south in the winter. New Orleans used to fill up with them in the winter time.

I think that the training idea is great. Many organizations do that kind of work. They are usually unseen but you might see them listed in your United Way form. (Sorry, I just had to attend a promo at work.) Those organizations never have enough money or hands. They would welcome 30 million.

$\"Gravatar\"$ The old saying 'walk a mile in someone's shoes' rings very true in regards to the homeless. It's a vicious cycle that once on is difficult to get away from. I can't think of too many companies that would be keen to hire someone who cannot provide a home address and who cannot turn up to an interview groomed to perfection.

Thanks for posting this - awareness for any cause can only work when the population has as much access to information as possible.
