Gravatar There is direct evidence that the Hezbollah used Qana as a base of operation both in 1996 and today. UNFIL officers specifically note that rockets were fired just outside the village by Hezbollah fighters who were hiding in the village.

A very similar story was told by the Christians residents of Ain Ebel village who were forced to leave thier homes due to the bombing.

“Hezbollah came to Ain Ebel to shoot its rockets,” said Fayad Hanna Amar, a young Christian man, referring to his village [in South Lebanon]. “They are shooting from
between our houses.” “Please,’’ he added, “write that in your newspaper.”

Gravatar Bullshit.

The only Christians I saw this morning where the ones that were marching with Hezbollah supporters.

All of the Christians I saw this morning were chanting, "God bless Nasrallah, God bless Hezbollah!"

Thanks for unifying the Lebanese people!

Gravatar "There is direct evidence that..."

Then where is it?

Let's assume Qana was a "base." You are talking about an entire village.

What was bombed was a KNOWN UN compound.

Does your "direct evidence" show that the rocket was fired from a KNOWN UN compound?

if so, then please show it. pretty please?

if not, then regardless of whether rockets were fired from there or not, that does nothing to "justify" the attack on civilians seeking refuge in a KNOWN UN compound.
