I don't think that Lebanon should agree to this resolution, as written. This is a slightly modified version of what Israel wanted all along. Usrael should not be allowed to accomplish through the Security Council what it could not accomplish militarily.
I have not read Hizbullah's position on this draft, but it is opposed to "international forces" being deployed in Lebanon.

This is the replacement of Israeli occupation with a foreign occupying force. They are asking the lebanese government like in Iraq and Afghanistan to legitimize occupation. This is exactly what Israel wanted to do and the UN is doing it on its behalf. Deal or No deal ? I say no deal.

I like the idea of "international forces", because:
a. The idea is doomed to fail
b. The nations that participate will quickly despise their leaders
and the US/Israel because of the failure.
Besides - the whole UN/international forces-thingy is a fraud.
It's only a smokescreen to provide the master race with more
time to destroy and cleanse South-Lebanon.
And finally - the're a lot of indicators that Lebanon is the first
step to the destruction of Iran.

It's a good draft for Israel and all nations of peace. What is laughable is Lebanon believes it is the owner of Shebaa Farms. LMAO. They have never owned one inch of the land, and never will.

What would make me happy?
Israel pulling out of Lebanon completely.
Israel setting free all Political Prisoners.
The right of return for ALL Palestinians.
Bush choking on another pretzel, fatally.

Israel long said it would leave Shebaa is it were Lebanese. It's not. According to everyone but Lebanon it is Syrian. The Syrians said it is Lebanese but wouldn't go to the UN and demarcate a proper border. If they did that Israel would leave the land. Everyone knows Hizbullah talk of resistance to occupation of Shebaa Farms is a pretext. If you don't realize it is a pretext, you're fooling yourself. If you think Hizbullah now are a resistance force against Israel, you are fooling yourself. It is a militia trying to destabilize progress in Syria, to intimidate all the other factions who have put down their guns. If you are really concerned about who is in that land, ask why Syria will not go to the UN and set the border. Again, Israel has made explicitly clear, in the past, it did not leave Shebaa Farms when it left Lebanon because the Shebaa Farms are not technically in Lebanon. Why this mattered to Israel I don't know. But Shebaa Farms is occupied Syrian territory, not Lebanese territory.
The Jewish State is no more supremacist than Japan for having and wanting a Japanese majority, than India for having majority Indians, than Thailand for being majority Thais, than Lebanon for being majority Arab, etc.
The only thing Hizbullah wants more than to end Israel is to end the hopes of a democratic Lebanon, with a free press and religious freedoms. For some reason the Hizbullah look around, see Iran and see France, and think Iran is a much better model for Lebanon.

"If they go from Sheba'a, we will not stop fighting them. Our goal is to liberate the 1948 borders of Palestine...[Jews] can go back to Germany or wherever they came from.” Hezbollah statement.

What's logically wrong with that?
The germans committed the holocaust - with other european countries
helping them more or less, not the arabs.
And watching Israels policies of ethnic cleansing - watching parties
in the Knesset that opt for the deportation of the arabs without the
usual "self-defense" smokescreen - what's wrong with the statement -
if one accepts zionist ethics?
Or - is something wrong with their ethics?
Besides I would welcome the jews here - whose contributions are
outstanding in many domains.
What is outstanding in Israel, except for the lies and the thinly
veiled racism?

And I am sure that Israel would release EVERY Arab prisoner; political or not, and withdraw from Lebanon in and Gaza and wherever else if they were guaranteed by the Arabs that there would be peace.
Problem is, Fascist Islamacists do not want peace.
Real Islam does.
Eventually, real Islam will win.

You're right.
The arabs of palestine will remove zionism - thus Israel - from time
and space one day, for Israel is an illegitimate colonial state for
jewish supremacists.
What came to power by the sword, will perish by the sword.
