He is hated by many Hamas people , when he was Mukhabarat Boss , he had Many Hamas leaders tortured in the PLO prisons . he is nothing but a thug and a thief too. the guy was raised in a refugiee camp he left only a few years ago , now he owns his own companies and has bought an appartment in Dubai .(Mahmoud AL zahar says he has all the documents to prove it ) he is also trying to show all the files of corruption and clean them up too.
If Al Zahar has alll that evidence implicating Dahlan,(and I don't doubt he or someone else does) why doessn't he make it public? "Unity" in the face of hte enemy - at all costs? That certainly is not what Dahlan, Abbas et al believe in.

I agree Irish Eyes. Hamas doesn't want to be blamed for starting a "civil war." But I am afraid it will be forced on Hamas. Dahlan will be the new Pinochet; mark my words.

He said he is ready to do so in the right time when things are sorted between hamas and fatah and he wants to go further and open all the files that have been closed and urge those who stole Pales funds to give the money back to the people . Fatah try and find other topics to blame it on hamas because they know they ll be implicated big time . ALL of them. Including Amro and Abu rJoub .
