6 Members of Hezbollah have resigned and one christian too. ALL sects must be represented in the gov to be constituational , right now the shias are NOT .
I have been watching the third day demos , Absolutely brilliant to hear Slimane Franjiyeh (Christian) and Talal Majid Arslane (Druzze) talk they restored my faith in the Arab nation , there are still good guys out there who dont care about the Honor for being good friends with the zionists and the US neocons . thank god for that , i had almost lost hope .

I agree. This site is the best place for news and analysis. Angry Arab just mocks the obvious and even his analysis is mostly gossip. Tony, I really enjoy your personal commentaries, so keep writing them! The last one was particularly insightful. What do you make of the protests in Lebanon? What is the strategy? Is there momentum? What is the government strategy? etc.

"6 Members of Hezbollah have resigned and one christian too. ALL sects must be represented in the gov to be constituational , right now the shias are NOT."
You mean in the cabinet, right? Does this mean any case all of one sect resigns from the cabiniet the government no longer meets its constitutional requirement? Also, is veto power that Shiites were seeking precedented in Lebanon or outlined in the constitution?
I too agree about prefering this site to AngryArab, in terms of analysis and comments. There are several smart people with a range of political viewpoints discussing there but the stuff your eyes have to wade through to find them...

Ziad AL Rahbani and Julia Boutross are joining the Demo with their fabulous voices . I cant wait to go and listen to them right now on my arabic Channels .
Julia is a strong supporter of Hassan Nasrallah , she turned one of his letters to the resistance this summer into a Number one song "AHibaai."
