They only use Geneva Conventions whenever they feel like it. For the case of Saddam Hussein, it is obviously a breach of contract in the 4th chapter of the Geneva conventions for prisoners treatment. They also erased any proof in the involvement of Saddam Hussein and the CIA contacts prior to the 1st Gulf war.
