They want to believe it, but they are more and more unsure by the day. They're terrified. The "demographic threat" has them sleepless, hence their insistence on being legitimised by having their "right to exist" recognized by the Palestinians.
If one haves a glance at the ziopress, there are articles on a daily basis pointing at demographics -- to be added to bunches or propaganda addressed at brainwashing the israelis.
That's not that they are worried, they are obsessed.
And they have nothing to do!
That's a failed state since the beginning. Yet 60 years after it was proclaimed, cnnot stand on its own legs, and depends on US-EU taxpayers monen for its very existence.
No colonial enterprise can survive in the present times. Clever israelis are packing up back to their countries of origin.
