Gravatar Lucia,
Palestinians both in the WB and Gaza do not care with either one. I have my parents live in the West Bank and a brother in Gaza. Both say that the palestinians are fed of both.

Gravatar Falastini Hurr,

I do care for both,
and for the refugees wherever they are,
and for the Palestinian residents in the part of Palestine renamed as "Israel".

And I consider Dahlan, Abbas, Fayyad, Rabbo, Qurei, etc. etc. etc. as enemies of the Palestinian people and traitors to the Palestinian cause.

-

What does it mean Hurr?

Gravatar Hurr Means FREE.
In regards to your opinion, I do respect. I am not going to waste my time on them. I believe in change. Educating the masses is better than wasting my time on those leaders. The People, should be educated so they can choose their future leaders.

Gravatar Falastini Hurr, educating also involves exposing these traitors. If not, how will the people choose when many still trust them, blinded as they are by their propaganda.

Note that the first thing the americans ordered them to do was grabbing the media and the security forces, what they unconstitutionally did. Next, they caused caos in Gaza, even using car-bombs, and strived to undermine the elected government and leave it resourceless to fight caos. This was what led Hamas to form the special forces, which was the best they could do.

As an old proverb says: wherever the viper bites you, a remedy can be found close by. Or, in other words, as a friend of mine usually says: Everything that happens is for our best.

Gravatar According to the paper, the report was given to Abbas from a European source, who claimed that the Americans were not interested in exerting pressure or confronting Israel, and that the US was "allowing Israel full freedom to take a stance which would serve its policies, its security, and its interests alone."

Gravatar In the classrooms, I watched as students were taught radio communications without radios, driving and vehicle maintenance with no vehicles, foot-patrol tactics without weapons or radios, and mounted-patrol tactics without vehicles.

The spectacle of watching officers pretend they were in vehicles, or had radios or firearms was so ridiculous that it would have been funny were the stakes not so high

Gravatar Conceivably, the Saudi foreign minister had reason to feel frustrated. The entire Saudi political stratagem in Lebanon has backfired. The Saudi backing for the Foud al-Siniora government's moves to drag Hezbollah into a civil war stands badly exposed.

... The Saudis have realized there aren't many takers in the Arab world for their anti-Iran, anti-Hezbollah ploys at present.

... As things stand, the Middle East is seething with anger that the Bush administration has dumped the Israel-Palestine "peace process", despite all the hullabaloo at the Annapolis conference in the US last November. In addition, Bush's close identification with Israel profoundly alienates Arab opinion. The Bush administration's overall credibility is also very low, given the Iraq quagmire. Bush is being left in no doubt that the mood in the Middle East is firmly against any US adventurism against Iran.

... The Iranians are no more taking the lame-duck administration in Washington seriously. They know the Bush administration stands widely discredited in the Middle East. They know it is in any case necessary to deal with the new administration in Washington next year. They are shrewd enough to assess that any US exit strategy in Iraq that the incoming US administration formulates, will be critically dependent on Iran's cooperation. (...)

Gravatar Dear Lucia

Why don't you take on Arab advocate's points????

And why you didn't answer to my message to you.

I think a rational language was used in these posts. However, you still insist on defending Iran which leads me to either one of two conclusions:

1) you are a dirty Iranian yourself , posing as some Lucia which is typical Iranian lowliness and dirt

2) you are an Arab-Hater and you find in advocating the malign Iranian intrets in Iraq a chance to make your dark wishes fo the Arab nation come into action.

Any way , I have to tell you that you are seriously stupid. Because your english has revealed you )

LOL

I have found your blog.

Gravatar I notice your "intrets" in hooking me.

So bad for you it is not reciprocated.

Re: post 7:5pm by the orchestra-nick.

Gravatar LoL

Thank you very much. you have just proven my point!

You have skipped the main issue and diverted into wishful thinking. I suggest that you read Arab advocate's comments as well as mine.

Yet if it happens that our comments regarding the Iranian occupation of Iraq masked by the stereotyped Iranian malevolence and malice reads into your grain-sized head as an act of flirtation, then definetly you are a liablity to the Palestinian cause.

That is because if someone with such a genital-based biew of the world turns into a self-proclaimed spokesman and protector of Arabs and Palestinians, then the cause will jsut turn into a fertile material for stand up comedians, porn industry and shows of the " believe or not " genre.

Anyway, It seems that my pinning down of your deplorable identity, has been quite precise and accurate. Your nervous, pathetic pleading for anyone to flirt with you have said all.

I left a comment on your blog a while ago

LOL

Gravatar hahahahahahaha@amre.

Gravatar The very same person under multiple nicks, showing ALWAYS the same characteristic: Incapability of understanding, reading one of every two lines and so on.

Who's speaking of "genital based" stuff, if not YOU, moron?!

That's called a projection in psychology, mind you. That's your "biew", cretin.

"Your nervous, pathetic pleading for anyone to flirt with you have said all."

What word did trigger your projection? Was it “hooking” or was it “reciprocated”?

Your comment shows you're a retard.
A retard with the rethoric of the baathi propaganda outlets.

What an embarrassment for the Iraqi people you are!!!

Gravatar Hello everyone!
May I suggest the "silly" idea of putting a "Hola" to our internal divisions for the very "silly" reason, again, of a certain unity of camp and solidarity against the jolly zionist enemy who could only be cheering our illconsidered antagonisms?... No?
Ok! then.. Let's keep gauging each others eyes... It so much fun running about totally blind!
Enjoy!
.

Gravatar I know that I'm new here and sound a bit naive and so on, but, not really. I'm familiar with this very game run for months now on the angryarab blog. I've seen the best minds of our side self-inflict the worst injuries due to the pitiful sectarian animosity all the while the Zionists and their groupies cheering and jeering in disbelief at their unexpected good strike of luck. I have this motto for what's it's worth. NEVER AGAINST MY SIDE!
.

Gravatar "....I've seen the best minds of our side self-inflict the worst injuries due to the pitiful sectarian animosity all the while the Zionists and their groupies cheering..."

I am with you and I support all efforts to diminish sectarianism. What is happening in Iraq is an USraeli triumph in using sectarianism to destroy a major Arab country. If this goes on, I am afraid that this is only the beginning.

Gravatar thankgodimatheist | 05.21.08 - 11:33 pm |

I agree with you TGIA, but I would point out that sectarianism is not quite the problem it may appear to be. What is killing is what we in the Arab world call "qotriya". In English its translated as "regionalism" but it really refers to the state loyalty. We have created artificial identities such as "lebanese", "jordanian", or "kuwaiti", and all at the expense of the unifying Arab identity.

Sectarianims is not quite the problem it appears to be. In Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Iraq it simply does not exist. What we saw in Iraq the past few years is NEW, and its not all about sectarianism. Too long to go into here. And it was all instigated, created, and fueled by the dual occupying powers of the US and Iran. Iraqis have never been sectarian and its not even polite to speak this way in polite company in Iraq. And again, in Syria, Jordan and Palestine the issue never comes up. Lebanon is a special case. In Lebanon it was the French created sectarian system which imposed itself on the people, and forced them into a sectarian perspective. Change the system and you solve the problem.

In short, sectarianism exists among some select political groups, but it is not a part of the Arab social fabric.

Gravatar "In short, sectarianism exists among some select political groups, but it is not a part of the Arab social fabric"

Brilliantly said!

Gravatar hahahahahahahahaha@ moron lucia

Gravatar "In Syria, it simply does not exist."
AA
I disagree with you on this again. Sectarianism does exist in Syria and I am speaking from experience. NOTHING gets done in Syria without the approval of some Alawite in power , from building your house or getting a passport. A low rank Mukhabaraat that is Alawee has more power than the highest ranking member Sunni in the government. All Syrians are aware of this but they are too afraid to speak , because when they do , they end up in Jail and you have to bribe some Alawee army Officer or Mukhabaraat in order to know the whereabouts of those who disappear. Talk to Syrians who are exiled and they will tell you horror stories. Sectarianism as well as Tribalism are more problematic than the "regionalism" you are referred too, in my opinion. I mean you can have a single country and have a single identity but the tribe/sect always trumps it !! Even if you have one large united Arab nation , Tribalism/sectarianism will be a factor until the consciousness of the people is changed.

Gravatar Anonymous,

You are simply wrong about Syria, very wrong. I also speak from personal experience being from Syria. Do not confuse Cronyism and corruption with sectarianism.

Gravatar AA
I am Syrian and I am not making up fantasies in order to distort reality.
Corruption and Cronyism does exist, but to say Sectarianism does not exist in Syria is naive.

Gravatar Anonymous,

It is you who is not only naieve but also ignorant. You clearly know nothing about Syria or the Syrian people. Stop repeating Western/American stereotypes.
