reporter Gabriel Bron , Once an IDF says he was a witness to those war crimes, the same day the USS liberty was destroyed, the POWs were in Al Arish Airport (used as prison) and were asked to dig their own grave and the IOF were shooting them. the Israeli thought the US liberty could have seen those war crimes and this could be one of the reaons it was targeted (crimes done AFTER cease fire to Unarmed/ prisoners of War ) found on page 96/97 in the politics of Antisemitism by Alexander Cockburn and Jeffrey St Clair .
