Thanks, Barbara and Julia. The blueberry soup is truly wonderful. Offset with the tangerine, it is so good!

Hi chronicler,
What a lovely dessert. I had no idea blueberries could be made into soup. It's a great contrast of colors, and I can almost taste how refreshing the tangerine sorbet is!

Thanks everyone!
Yes, Nicky we did have a bit of a bluish tinge. LOL!
Sarah, I think an orange would do well with the soup also.
Allison, Cindy and Kieko hope you all try it and love it as much as we did!

i love tangerines too. my aunt used to squeeze me fresh tangerine juice, and i swear, it ruined me for orange juice forever. your dessert looks beautiful...and the plate is a perfect match!

Hi Chronicler,
your creation looks sooo gorgeous, I love the color of blueberries (and the berries itself, too)! I have memories of my grandma baking wonderful blueberry cake and me ending up with reeeeally blue teeth Did you guys have a bright blue smile afterwards, too?

Thanks Jennifer. I;ll let you know as soon as I can get some really good cataloupes. Shouldn't be long now!
Stephanie, the sorbet was so easy. I didn't quote a recipe source because the recipe was only half there. So if you give it a try, let me know how it works for you. Thanks!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. If you get a chance to try out the cantaloupe sorbet, do let me know what you think.
Your dish looks marvelous. I love the contrast in colors. And I bet (from the description) it had a nice play-off in taste too.
