I was going to ask which was your favorite salt. Fleur de Sel is my favorite as well. I have some sea salt too, but I have not yet tried Real Salt. I will need to get some.

On a recent trip I purchased a tin of gray salt. The label says it hails from the "Brittany Coast of France, has a high concentration of minerals that means more flavor less sodium." I was sold, hoping this will help to keep Thor's HBP in check.
Thanks for the timely post!

Amira, you should be able to get your hands on some real salt. It is an official utah product. I get mine at the local health and nutrition store.
Ana, I haven't ever tried Aveiro. I'll keep my eyes open and give it a try. Thanks.

A very interesting post. For cooking I use Portuguese salt, which is somewhat like the kosher salt. It is made in Portugal, Aveiro being one of the best known. It is made by evaporation of the sea water. It has large crystals and I love it.

Thank you, thank you. I've been trying to branch out with our salt. My husband doesn't get why I use different kinds of salt for different things. I'm going to try the Real Salt and Himalyan (if I can get either in my rather small town).
