Gravatar Thanks everyone! Curiosity Killer, It's a laminated dough. I'm going to do a post on one in a future post. They're complicated but not impossible to make from scratch. Pleanty of people have made them and it just takes a bit of skill and practice.


Gravatar Grommie, sorry to get back so late to you, yes it is a lot like puff pastry. A bit of yeast and the layers of butter. I think I 'll do a separate post about it.


Gravatar Ok. I'm going to try this, but I'll probably have some trouble with the dough. It's a tad difficult for me to find french dough in Hong Kong... especially cause I'm new in this area. Did you make the dough from scratch?

Gravatar No lemon Lisa, they got peeled and cooked in about ten minutes time. Then consumed in about an hour and a half. These babies didn't have time to brown!
