Have you read Tender at the Bone? (sorry, I can't remember the author, I'm sure Google can help you out there.) It's not a cook book but I think you might really like it. it's an autobiography centered around the food in the woman's life.

I've been reading a lot of cookbooks lately too, and posting about a few. I love how they inspire me to try new recipes. With three boys under the age of four I've been appreciating books with 20 or 30 minute meals. I also have a great husband who loves to eat & cook too - he's been sending me 3 or 4 recipes a day lately. Great blog here! My favorite cooking blog is Picky Palate.
