w/e... arie is "grungry and gangly" and hits on anything with labia. the article ramos wrote, while maybe a bit harsh, was dead-on. maybe arie should think about the phrase "you reap what you sew." hey, at least every single "young waitress in cincinnati" got a good laugh.

Many have sent me e-mails commenting on the Ramos article. I can say I've never seen this behavior from Arie. In any event, I wish people would either make the connection between how this caused the financial difficulties of ArtSpike or drop the topic. It reaks of tabloid nonsense. Point is, ArtSpike was a good magazine, with great writers, and had the potential to get even better. Say what you will about Arie, but he provided a venue for many local artists to get the coverage they had no chance of getting elsewhere.
