Apologies for being very Off-topic, but our very own Peter Bronson has just been named Atrios's "Wanker of the Day." Finally, long-deserved recognition.

God help Cincy
if Charlie W. gets back on City Council!
I saw him @ Northside Parade
& I refused to shake his hand as he passed.
Did notice that he had Sam Malone,
noted felon/child advocate,
leading his cheers...OMG!

Well of the nonincumbents the ones with the most thought out information on their sites so far are:
Tony Fisher
Charlie Winburn
Bernadette Watson
Quinlivan has nothing under issues except coming soon. At least give some top line things and say the details are coming soon.

Berding, Bortz, Ghiz, Monzel, Thomas, Hollan, Quinlivan, Young & Zamary.
Take that to the bank. However, it would be interesting to see what Tony Fisher & Kevin Flynn do to address budget issues & the City's Retirement Fund. I believe these 2 are very close outsiders to finish in the top 10.
This city is finished with windbags like Charlie, Laketa Cole, Rox Qualls, & Greg Harris.

Um, too many banks let people take that kind of bet to them. Citi, BoA, Bear Stearns...

TV is overrated. Why pay to show an ad to 2 million people, when you really only need 30,000 people to see it?
You can do very well in a City Council race with a large direct mail program.

I think indirect mail would be even better: mail it to the neighbor of the person to whom it's addressed. Then they give it to the right person, and you've doubled your impact. Cha-ching!

Why is Tony Fischer appearing with the conservative bloc to sign this inane police pledge?
Is he a conservative? And how can these guys call themselves "fiscally responsible" when they interject themselves into internal budget negotiations for campaign publicity?

Fisher had press conference attacking Harris and then participated in press conference against advice of evey democrat incumbent on Council. Apparently Berding has real influence over Fisher, and Fisher thinks he can win by becoming Dusty Rhodes.

Bill,
Call the Board of Elections. You still have time to get the signatures, but not much time.
