You know that they shot a pilot for "Lipstick Jungle" last season also? I read the script two years ago. Sounds like it has changed a bit since then. I too am looking foward to checking out "Journeyman" and "Chuck." I'm not optimistic about "Life" (but then, we reached cop show saturation point a few years back).
You didn't mention "The IT Crowd"! I know it is midseason replacement, but this is close to my heart for obvious reasons (I was and am one of these people). I just hope it isn't an over the top mess like the SNL Tech Guy sketches turned into.
Overall, I don't think NBC really pushed the envelope very much...not a lot of bold decisions (FNL on Fridays?? Really? I mean, I know it has 'Friday' in the title, but who will watch that night? and I think they are killing "Medium" softly with the midseason Sunday slot. That show was at its best on Mondays at 10. You may not watch it, but my mom does. And I have a spec for it, so I have to back that horse or write a new spec.)
Whoop! ABC tomorrow. Expect NBC to make changes by week's end to this schedule. They did it last year after seeing everyone else's schedule. They moved 'Studio 60' from Thursday after ABC announced 'Grey's Anatomy' would air at the same time.
Why don't you like Battlestar Galactica? Granted, Gary and I never watched the old one, but we love the new one.
