Joe and Samara (well, Samara did most of the work) made me Chile Rellenos, with peppers and tomatoes fresh from the garden and fried in a gas fired cauldron outside; roasted pork burritos; a palette cleansing "Diner Salad" of iceberg lettuce and cucumbers; and a moist-but-not-fudgey cocoa layer cake with chunks of bittersweet chocolate, raspberry filling, and buttercream frosting (pictured above). Mmm...
