Truth Seeker said, "I understand that Chris Davis caused a stir by showing up to videotape the proceedings." |
Nah, no stir. They let me do my thing, I let them do theirs, on tape. |
Great! I appreciate you doing this, thanks! |

Unbelievable. Robert Sanchez acted like a complete buffoon (again). He interjected the announcement of the birth of his daughter, between speakers, during the public comment period. It appears that he wasn't even listening to the first person in the public comment period. If he was, he certainly didn't show any empathy by throwing in his announcement at a completely inappropriate time. If there could possibly be an appropriate time for his announcement, it would have anywhere else besides the public comment period. He gets to talk as much as he wants during the rest of the meeting. Let the citizens talk during the public comment period. |
The Public Comment period is for citizens to comment. I am a citizen, and my daughter is a Brownsville citizen also. I wonder what your comments would be, if I had announced her birth during the regular agenda meeting. |
Robert, Did you mean to say that "baboons give out bananas?" If not, you just reinforced my point even more. Otherwise, please tell me what a "baffoon" is. |

Mr. Anonymous, |

The public comment period is for everyone to provide announcements. I've been to many a meeting. I've seen officials provide updates on ill, well-known community members, I've seen birthday announcements, I've seen invitations to special, non-town events, etc. etc. I see nothing wrong with Mr. Sanchez's announcement during the public comment period. |
