Obviously she cares about her mother because she is Hispanic. Everybody knows white people just don't care about their elderly. Doesn't Mr. Longoria understand she has a racial-- I mean, a moral obligation to care for her? Viva la raza! Viva la casa! Well, the casa that is on 19th street.
Yeah, kinda hoped to avoid that point, hence the broken quote. But it's a doozy, nevertheless.
In the Dallas City council case I handled some 8-10 year ago an issue was raised concerning language in the residency provision related to your address being an address to which you intend to return - this means you can claim an address you left if your intent is to return to that address -
it would seem to me, in the case at bar, if anything her intent is to return to the address where her husband beds down for the night -
this entire story is very very odd- but then it its politics as usual
Her mother is SACRED! That quote deserves to get her name on the ballot. It is proper.

On another note, with students not born in this country (and I don't want to start an argument/debate on this issue)...it is all about intent. Does she intend to return to her home with her husband or does she never intend to return to the home with her husband....
Better yet, why not follow the other HISPANIC tradition: husband and wife and kids can ALL move in with the mother in law...
We have to move on here. No one cares about Mrs. Garcia running or not running. Let's get back to talking about things that matter. Here are my suggestions:
1. Let's talk a little more about the mayoral race.
2. Let's talk about the sudden resignation of Mellisa Zamora from the county judge’s office. How come that hasn't been blogged?
