Now that's you've re-set my expectations (it does the entertaining job it's supposed to), perhaps I'll give the flick a try. The book was the archetype of a successful blockbuster. Accessible writing, strong plot, mini-chapters with a climax at the end of each to keep you going. Wonder how the movie keeps the rhythm though.
