Gravatar What a "lovely" story!

Spring brings such life and hope!
Yeaaaa! I'm so glad winter is over!!!

Enjoy your curly willow!

Gravatar that just brought a tear to my eye.

Happy Spring!

Gravatar How amazing! I love this post -- and the picture of the tree. I'm so glad it's still going!

Gravatar Sadd.ddddd....

I can't see the image. (But I'm glad it's alive!)

Gravatar Aww, that is so so exciting that you can still have this special way of remembering your dad. What a determined little tree.

Gravatar What a beautiful post. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Spring to you!!

Gravatar Ahhhh, hope springs eternal. Willows are wonderful trees. They bend with the wind when others would snap and break, they never say die once they are established - and this one carries memories in each leaf...what a nice gift to carry around with you.....Im sure you will have this tree most of your life, knowing you as I do. My sentimental first born beautiful daughter, in mind spirit and body - you always amaze me. I love you.

Gravatar Oh my! I don't what made me more weepy...your blog or the post from your Mommy?? What a sweet story...

Gravatar There are a hundred beautiful metaphors in that one sweet photo. Thanks for sharing the story with us, Courtney!

Gravatar Okay J gave me a begonia when he was three and I thought I'd killed it on the transportation from Texas to Cali and back and so I threw it out. This makes me wish I hadn't . Go you for hanging onto it!!

Gravatar Wow, that totally made me tear up!

You can go to the garden center of your local hardware store and get a pot base with wheels on it. It makes moving big potted plants around SO easy!

Gravatar My uncle has lots of curly willows, they can survive nearly anything. It sounds like this one has. It's a survivor, just like you.

Gravatar WHat a sweet sweet story! What a testimony as well! MAkes me feel all warm and cozy inside.

Gravatar I tried really hard to water him but, it was soooooo hot last summer.
Well I'm happy he survived. The picture made me crack up... Dad was much better at keeping plants alive.
