Gravatar Wow, that is SO exciting! And it's adorable. Of course I am about to cry at the thought of a clawfoot tub being discarded, but everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I bet someone would love to take it off your hands! Keep us up to date as things continue to happen!

Gravatar I'm super impressed by anyone who isn't a bazillionaire that can navigate & actually purchase a home in SF. We had friends try and give up from how crazy it was.

Huge congrats! I'm excited to see the "before" and "after" pics.

Gravatar Woowoo! Congratulations!

I'm with Laura--if that tub wasn't so heavy, I'd have you ship it to me!

Can't wait to see the pictures. Let's hope it all goes like buttah!

Gravatar So fun - it's beautiful! I hope the conversion goes smoothly and that you have your home soon!

Gravatar I am not a fan of claw-foot tubs either, so I would have removed it. Plus, the hardware for them...like $600! Insane.

Sounds exciting and stressful. I hope it moves quickly once it is deemed a condo. We are just getting the paperwork to start closing tomorrow, and we put our offer in in March...long time. But, it will be worth it.

Good luck!!!

Gravatar Dang. What an adventure!! It's crazy to hear all the different ways you've made offers. I like the conclusion, and your reasons for it! Sooooooo excited for you!!! *carefully not getting too excited and watching the caution in the wind closely*

Gravatar Wow! What a road!

It's such a pretty place. I hope it becomes a condo soon!

Gravatar Congratulations! I hope all goes smoothly. Now is definitely a good time to buy around here. Wish we had waited 2 or 3 years before we bought in the East Bay. Our house is worth less than 1/2 of what we owe on it.

Gravatar Just an fyi, the agent wouldn't have gotten commission for a day and a half of work, I'm sure by now you know how much work goes into buying a house. The work they do until your house closes can be worth more than they get paid at times.
