I'm a firm believer that anything can happen virtually anywhere. And, yes, ClayStarr, love can be found on the internet...it just may take a while...a long, long, while. Hell, it takes a long while in the real world too. You know I know!
I believe the internet provides a huge outlet of men. Although, many of them desire some kind of sex. There are also many like you and I, who have the desire to begin and sustain a meaningful relationship. The sad part is weeding out the brothas on a4a, bp, etc. I've met many friends and associates from the net. It is my main way to meet people like myself. I'm still waiting on the computer pop up with the ad of my lover to be. Good luck, and keep up the faith!
I agree that that the internet of today is nothing like it was say 5 - 10 years ago. Back then, you were not bombarded with sex, lies, and video tape... literally as you are today.
I've met a long list of good friends via the net and its been a source of maintaining the friendships that the telephone can never provide (I am not a phone person - so its rare that folks get a call from me just to say hi).
We need an internet clearing house.. to weed out the knucklheads.. hows that? LOL
