"Me" time is very important and I try to at least take a weekend a month where it is all about me and doing something I want to do. So good for you that you are getting some much needed "me" time.
I could have written this a few years ago. I was in the exact same boat. I had to cut ties in order to find me. I'm still looking, as well as looking for someone to spend time with, but I'm not giving my all to every organization that asks.
Now a word of advice: either resign in writing or just stop showing up. Then screen all calls. Never give folks an opportunity to talk you into coming back when you realize its time to leave.

As always, I feel you, especially, the part about coming home at the end of the day! During my last break down from doing too much work for my organizations, my mother told me what good are you doing them now. I had/have to realize that I'm human I can't do everything.
Make time for yourself! Ultimately, you are the only one that can. Trust me people will understand.
You are exceptional! If you are the MAN, be the MAN. You will always have people jealous.

You're doing the right thing. Don't overextend yourself, because then nothing gets accomplished. Thats not what you want.:p
