Um.... BBQ 'round here is pulled pork. The Rendezvous is primarily a rib joint. Most certainly we can eat there (though there are a few folks hereabouts who think that the Rendezvous is a tourist spot, and that there are better ribs to be had in Memphis). I shall leave the natives to opine more on that. The Rendezvous is quite ok by me when I can get there.

As for BBQ, I'm quite happy with The BBQ Shop, which is about a 5 minute walk from my apartment. According to my sources, if it isn't the best in Memphis it's in the top 3 or so, which is good enough for me.

I see the *distinction* (but fer instance...Russell's BBQ has both "pulled pork" BBQ and RIBS -- so they aren't necessarily *exclusive* one of the other.) LOL But any or both is fine...depending on the *schedule* and subject to *whimsey* of course.
