I'm excited about sockapaloooza too - there are only 3 Aussie dots on the map! I've successfully managed a mini trial sock so next its full steam ahead on socks for my fellow-beginner pal! Do you have any hints for good sock yarn which is easy to get in Australia?

It's not too late to sign up for the Olympics. I've never done anything like it before but it is really exciting and the evergrowing list of participants does surprise me. It is like being on a worldwide knitting tag team!

So does this mean that we'll see a Team Wales button appearing on your blog soon?

I am very excited by Whitup. It sounds like a great idea. I'm going there now....
