And I listened to that podcast too (I love Grand Designs)! Very interesting, and good to read your thoughts on it. I agree, I'm definitely on the finished product side (at some point in just about every thing I make myself I get to the stage where I wish it was just DONE already, so I could wear / use it) but I value handmade things much more because of the care and skill that's gone into producing them.
Oh so jealous!! If I was going to be around for more cold weather... you've done a great job Di, I love it!
