Ohh. That's a lovely post. My young ones are 10 and 6 but I remember those feelings, of returning to the city of your childhood to share the baby, of the tensions running hotter than usual, of the poignancy of experiencing memory making because of the impact of a new life that you are responsible for. Look at the curiosity of his gaze, the light on his face. Life is beauty and sadness.
