Gravatar my tomato seedlings are a bust too : ( i also put them outside and now they are all pale and wane. the weird thing is that i had all these random tomato plants popping up in the middle of winter from seeds in our compost and they've all survived and are huge now. maybe the diggers seeds are wimps?

Gravatar it's exciting when everything starts growing all of a sudden. your vege patch is looking very lovely and abundant. you'll be right for coleslaw / vietnamese salads now!

Gravatar Seasonal engagement is a really major part of the attraction of a veggie garden for me. Perhaps greater than the produce itself. And your brassicas look astonishingly pest free - well done!! Despite very few problems growing tomatoes over the years I have never done well growing them from seed. I'm not sure why, I've tried so many different ways with so much extra tender loving care, but they just never seem to mature quickly enough or crop well. I do beans and peas and carrots and spring onions and pumpkin and cucumber and melon from seed but the tomatoes I have surrendered on!

Gravatar Just so long as you don't actually expect a strawberry to make it inside the doors? We're into our third summer growing them and I swear kids have the eagle eyes of birds when strawberries are involved!
