Gravatar I can't imagine them with the red on the outside, they look perfect just as they are! Thanks for the link to the pattern as well. I can now whip up a pair of these for any new borns I know rather than knitting up a cardi!

Gravatar They look great, Di. Have you thought about when C gets on his feet? I've heard of good results using puff paint (from Scragfight or Lonecraft, usually).

You just draw designs on the sole (pawprints, cherries, etc) and they help grip onto hard floors.

You can also get a machine-washable micro-suede, too, which would work well on the sole.

But you probably already knew all of this...
