Gravatar Cheryl,
Lulu has "cost estimators" that you plug in the number of pages, and choices for color, binding and so on. For example, my 404-page book has only 88 graphics. With full color pages, it would cost $65.13, but with black-and-white pages, only $12.64. I felt that black-and-white was sufficient, and keeps the price low.

Gravatar Thanks, Tony. Guess that's why so many of the web comic blooks have been in black and white. I really like the idea of a cost estimator. Since I have a Blogger blog, periodically I plug my URL into SharedBook's cost estimator. It's a web-to-print, reverse-publishing option. If I select just the posts from November, the paperback would be $23.95, hardcover $5 more. Even if you don't have a Blogger blog, you could plug in my URL to see the demo.
