Problem is, you can't configure it to start minimized or in the tray, if it's ran at startup. And you have to configure the sizes of your program shortcuts INDIVIDUALLY!
I'll use Quick Launch anytime!

Is it possible to move a button to another group, or to move a group to a new category? I'm trying to set organize the desktop, and I can't find a way to move things around if I change my mind.

Yes, the second orgainizing method is the way to do it currently. I will include the move button in fist method in future version

If you only need a little bit more organization for Quick Launch, then all you probably need is a program like "Free Launch Bar" [ http://www.freelaunchbar.com/ ] which allows you to classify and separate types of items in Quick Launch.
I have also put in my todo list to try out the program "Folder Guide" [ http://www.freeware365.com/
deskt...folderguide.htm ] which allows you access to your favorite folders through the right-click context menu.

Hi, This does exactly what it offers, keeps the desktop clean and shortens the desktop toolbar. Figuring it out is not that difficult and just needs a little patience to achieve a desired result. If something less in-your-face is needed try 'Traybar' and I'm now trying to decide between the two! Only one personal preference: would appreciate a lighter weight border but would rate this 8/10
Hi again,Last comment seems to have been a little hasty as I experienced some difficulty installing skins which once sorted offered many different solutions to my border preferences. Have now got to upgrade rating to 10/10 especially since the author is proposing even more flexibility! Looks like Traybar may get the big E.
Incidentally, 'Folder Guide' is a must have.

If all you want to do is clear the desktop of shortcuts but still have them handy just make a shortcut toolbar.Make a folder on the desktop and name it something like applications or programs whatever. Drag the folder to the edge of the desktop and drop it, that makes a toolbar. Now put all your desktop shortcuts in the folder and they show up in the new toolbar. You can set the toolbar to auto hide and it's out of the way until you put your mouse to the edge of the screen. You can also set it to be always on top so you can open it with any windows open.
Andy, you have a real winner in 8start Launcher. I have version 1.7 that I've been using for about a week. You have definitely created the best launcher I have ever seen. I do hope you add drag and drop in an upcoming version. Nevertheless, you get 10 stars from me!
