I think that GMails filters are the best email filters I've seen so far. When trained, the Thunderbird filters are very good but I think Gmail's filter is even better.
Hotmail & Yahoo's spam filters are just pathetic, paticularly hotmail. Most other email services have either over-zealous filters or filters that don't seem to do anything. Microsoft Outlook's filter is ridiculous. I suppose if you rename your Outlook Inbox Junk, and your Junk-Mail to Inbox then it stands half a chance, but its really worthless.
I agree with that, I just had a real email go into the junk bin at Hotmail. I hate that.
