I always wonder when I am running the IE tab in Firefox - What is the level of security?
Is it at the IE level, or at the Firefox level?

My online banking doesn't support the latest version of Firefox so I would have to switch to IE. I installed this extension and everything works great. Thanks for the tip.

I've been using IETab for a long time. It's fantastic. I can do everything from within firefox now. Can't remember the last time I opened IE. It did have a few annoying bugs but they've been fixed in the latest version. Love it

I've been useing it for awhile now and don't have to use IE very often. The only thing is with the IEtab popup windows don't open which for the most part is good but some sites use them as part of the site and so you miss some infomation. For the most part though this isn't a concern.

Hi Lefty,
The security settings for the IE Tab would be controlled entirely by Internet Explorer. Firefox only borrows a portion of IE to display it in the tab.

I first used IE Tab but realized later than Yahoo! Photomail won't work in IE Tab, so I switch to IE View Lite instead. From Firefox, one can view a link using IE. You can configure it to close Firefox when it opens IE, or you can keep Firefox open as well.
