It downloaded but I could not get the icon on the desktop. I did a search and saw that it was a .pf file and my XP Pro would not open it even though the Task Scheduler is running. Too much trouble to get Expander, so I won't be trying Photoresize unless you have a quick solution.
Great work!
Thank you.

Hi Rejean,
Something went wrong on your download. You should have downloaded an exe file.

Check out FastStone's resizer (the same FastStone that is reviewed in the next section). It is the most complete of the resizers I've tried. The down side is that you lose the simplicity of something like PhotoResize400. So, if you need power, FastStone is for you. If you like convenience, PhotoResize400 is for you.

I found the Photo Resize file in my Download folder- I made a shortcut to the Desktop, and it works. Yeaaah!
Thanks again.

Have been using this program for almost a year and although I have tried other similar programs, none are as easy as drag, drop, and it's done...a never fail program!

If you want total simplicity try "Shrink pic" a free one from WWW.OnTheGoSoft.com
Once installed it will automatically intrude every time you attempt to attach a photo to your mail.
Requiring nothing from you, and leaving your original untouched and without storing the reduced file, it simply puts a reduced file in the email.
Perfect for anyone not wanting to have to remember to do anything at all, yet needing to avoid sending large files accidentally.
