I would like a free Utility that will convert from PDF to either MS word or any other format. I have seen some of these Utilitys but the cheapest one was $199 ranging up to twice that amount. There are many free Utilitys that will convert to PDF but the other way around are very scarce.
Regards Robert

I haven't seen a free PDF to doc converter either. Nearest is XPDF http://www.foolabs.com/ which reduces most PDF to plain text, needing much formatting after. Usually works well bu very complex PDF may defeat it (e.g. patents).

I don't know of any free pdf to doc converters, but I paid $10.00 for this one http://www.ctdeveloping.com/
ctde...ftodoc_info.asp
and it works as advertised, there is a free trial period to try it out.

For a .pdf to .doc converter, try the Media Convert website at http://media-convert.com, or the Zamzar website at http://www.zamzar.com
Nothing to download or install...

Marie, IrfanView supports batch scanning if that's what you're talking about.

Multiple screen capture
I have Googled for what I want and found many references but none seem to offer exactly what I need, which is:-
To set it and forget it.
To leave it running capturing images continuously without me having to press any further keys.
Capturing an image every 2 seconds, or 4 seconds or two minutes - or whatever interval I choose.
The programs I have looked at only seem to offer single captures at a keystroke.
I used to have a program that did exactly what I want. I am hoping someone knows of it or something else that does the same job.

Marie,
I have used IrfanView for years, but have recently switched to Fast Stone Image Viewer 3.2. I haven't even begun to investigate all the features this "viewer" has, but it handles the graphics better than Iview. It might be worth a look-see.

I'm interested in a free or low cost program that will tell me, before I download programs, how much is bloatware and how to avoid downloading the crap part.

I need a DVD player to work on my Win98 (non-SE) system. Current ones I have work erratically. The least worst one stops after some minutes.
