I built a new system with an Athlon X2 Dual core processor, and I'm running XP Pro 64-Bit. I've found that a lot of 32-bit apps just don't cut it; some won't even install. Since the trend seems to be toward 64-bit, I'd like to see more freeware goodies for it.

Hi Clff.
I'm looking for some software for my thumb drive that, when you you put the thumb drive into a USB port, it will ask you for a password before it boots up to the drive's contents. I've tried several different programs but none really does what I'd like it to do.
Thanks
Dave Emery

Hi Kathy, you may be out of luck. I can't recall seeing any freeware written specifically for 64bit.
Good luck to you anyway.

Hi Dave, I haven't seen any freebies to do the USB drive lock. The best ones so far are basically just file encryption software.

Looking for a good program that will keep me notified as to when a web site changes its contents.
Thank You,

Hi,
Is there any video capture tool for Microsoft Silversoft. I have to capture videos of Olympics played out in Microsoft Silversoft on NBC.com.
Thanks;
