Comments for Clif Notes Newsletter

Gravatar Hi...

I need a software to quickly type down whatever comes to mind and save it in categories and topic.
For the time being I've been using Keynote,(http://www.tranglos.com/free/ keynote.html), but further development is discontinued.

Is there a freeware out there?

Gravatar Try Quicknote: http://www.quicknote.de/

Quicknote lets you put any type of note into categories, and you can make as many notes and categories as you need. It stays out of the way, but can easily be opened when needed. I have used it for some time, and it is indispensable.

Gravatar Quicknote is good, but you should also check out SEO Note (http://www.seonote.info/). The advantage that it has is that it will read all your KeyNote files by default.

Gravatar I'm not looking for software, but instead assistance. So Clif, if this is out of line, please delete this post.

I'm looking for someone who can help me with Vista Premium Home edition. Receiving a lot of errors when trying to update software... all problems have to do with Administrative Rights. I've tried quite a few potential solutions, but no luck.

Contact me via email if you can help. THANKS!

Gravatar Hi Wolfe.

I don't know much about Vista.

If you need help, go and see some friends of mine.

cheers mate....JIMBO

Gravatar @Jimbo
I really like those people at CHC. I used to help out there as an assistant manager. I wish I still had time to share with them.

Gravatar I'm looking for a free way to convert PDF to TXT or RTF.

Do you know of any?

Gravatar I'm looking for a free/cheap way to create (I'm not a programmer) website for a remedial reading program.

Database of some 3300 short stories, suitable for all ages; fields are: title, author, original language/country, length, degree of difficulty (Fogg Index), subject (some 30 or so different ones), date of first publication (sometimes available exactly--dd/mm//yy--sometimes only approximate century).

Gravatar Hi Kingsley: Make a blog at one of the free blog hosts. (blogspot.com?).

One of my old buddies wrote an article on setting it up.

If you like George's article let him know by commenting there.

You could also try a free hosted wiki website like mine. You can get them at http://pbwiki.com
