I have need of a partition manager that will edit or merge my hard drives,(now C and D) but does not require a format and will save all files on C drive. Free would be nice.
Thank You
Paul

Um sorry Paul after more checking I found this, the answer to merging is "NO" for Gparted
But, you can move the contents from one partition to another, delete the one of them and resize the remaining one to take the disk space.
NOTE: Make sure you read the documentation before attempting

I need a free program that will show me what drivers are outdated and tell me how to update them.

I want to reduce stored paper documents by scanning and store digitally in a program that either resembles a ring binder with tabs or better still a notebook with folder tree. AM Notebook free is ideal but does not allow folder organising.

Good catch Tony. I was going to recommend EverNote. It seems to be the most flexible for that sort of thing.

That one looks excellent Rodney. The ability to create stand-alone executable macros is much desired by most folks.

re driveragent.com. The scan is fine but when you click on the download icon you are taken to a page saying you can download the drivers if you pay the $30 joining fee.

Hi Darla and Lei,
The question about driver updates has been asked before. I'm not sure we had a good answer. See this page.
