A modern replacement for MS Bob. I have friends that struggle terribly when it comes to doing simple tasks on their computer. I think "fear" sets in whenever they get within 5 feet of their computer and their mind fills up with gibberish. I walk them through simple procedures and shortly after they are stuck again. I need an MS Bob like character to replace me when I am not there. Many true PC users consider MS Bob an insult, but there are many out there that cannot function with a mouse or keyboard in their hand.
I am looking for free software to backup XP files (pictures, Documents) and add them to my new pc (Vista) I want to backup to cd/dvd. I have found many free backups and not sure if I can go from xp to vista without a problem? Thanks
