Gravatar I use Windows Media Center to record TV programs, however. it does not allow me to burn a DVD in video format only data format. I want to play it in my DVD player. If I could locate where windows Media Center (TV recordings) are located (files) perhaps I could then burn a DVD in the video format I want?? Any help or suggestions?? Thanks James

Gravatar James - You don't say which version of Windows you are running...in Vista the path is:
computer/local disk C/users/public/Recorded TV.

Gravatar THANKS!! Clif and Jimbo, I found the files like Jimbo said and also read about the files at wikipedia. I found the files in Public/recorded tv and then used "Windows DVD Maker". It took about20 minutes to create a 35 min DVD, not sure if that normal or not. I use windows Vista with 3g of ram. Anyway thanks both of you. James

Gravatar Glad to hear about your success James.

Have fun!

Gravatar James - That's better than 'normal'. Processing video files is always a long winded procedure....sounds pretty quick to me!

Gravatar I have 15,000 email addresses - people who bought something from me two yrs ago. Now I want to run them through an EMAIL VERIFIER PROGRAM. It must remove duplicates, prove that the formats are correct, and most of all it must send an MX4 signal to each email address to prove that it actually still exists. I've tried 8 so far and they all fail one way or another - socket errors with no help or suggestions. Some cost a lot. Need a free one. Ed

Gravatar Hi Ed,

The only email address verifier I have used is this one.
http://verify-email.org/

It won't work for you. I did a quick search, and I did get plenty of results. Here they are:

I recommend only visiting the "green" sites on this list of results.

Good luck!

Gravatar I need a program to set photos to music and play them on a TV through the DVD player. It must be easy to work with as I don't have a lot of skill in this area.

Thanks

Gravatar A second choice would be a program to convert a Movie Maker wmv file to a format which can be burned to a DVD and played on a standard DVD player. I'm using Windows XP if that makes a difference.
