Cool post dude, no worries about the technological impedements, i know how you feel. I thought it was very interesting how GM has the most effective blog right now. They have suffered a huuuuggge decrease in sales over the past few years and are in desperate need to produce cars that people actually want to buy. As you have probably noticed, they recently started their "Go Yellow" campaign and by the looks of things, GM seems to be changing their entire image. The blog looks like it's a great way to help the transition towards being a company that connects more to the environment (the greeny template of the blog) and as a company that cares about what their customers think.
One issue that has been coming up time and time again is whether blogs have any ROI (return on investment). It will be interesting in the case of GM to see if their sales increase because of the efforts they are putting into "Go Yellow" and the blog. This tool of transparency may show a serious change in dollar signs for GM. If it does, GM would serve as a great example of a company who's blog directly contributed to it's sales. I think you're graduating Krista so congrats and gooood luck!

Hi Krista, I am not sure blogging audiences are younger, especially the readers of corporate bloggers. I think each blogger would have to survey their readership to determine the age ranges. I know I contacted a number of GM Fastlane blog readers and most of them were in their 30's and 40's.
