It's a sad story. MJ was a genius who defined pop culture in the '80s and danced like no one before him.

I think a stolen childhood was at the root of the weirdness. I can't imagine asking my 4-year-old daughter to get on stage and perform night after night. That had to take its toll.

In the end, we have the music, which will never die. Like Elvis.

But it is still sad.
